That is SO beautiful! I have many questions about it... how long did it take to make? And what materials were used to create her? Did the designer name her? I know I would if I made something that 'lovely.'
I like to think that I'm pretty creative myself, but I have never made any mermaid art. This has inspired me to try it! I hope some of your fans have some similar masterpieces to share so we can enjoy seeing them!

Karen (the artist who created the mermaid) sent me some answers to your questions. I'm posting her answers here in comments. Here is what she said about creating her mermaid:
Happy to know other people like my mermaid. I just call her "The Little Mermaid". I am not so great with names. I would not mind hearing a few suggestions. My work takes me anywhere from 4 weeks to 3 month to complete. The mermaid is made from paper clay with a cloth overlay. Her lower body is a stuffed cotton from covered with 75 year old handmade lace. The mermaid is attached to the base with small pegs in her arms. The base is sculpted out wood,wire & papier mache'. I do sell my work through The Southern Highland Craft Guild shops, other galleries and my studio. Like all artists and crafters I love to share what I do.

Well no wonder you don't name each piece you make, if you sell them that would probably make it harder to part with them if they had names. That sounds like a great deal of work, I had no idea it would take that much time! She's beautiful. I have some suggestions for you, I LOVE names! I always like looking up names' meanings. But like you, I have an incredibly hard time deciding on one. Here are some mermaidy names I could think of:
Sula (an Icelandic name that means 'seabird)
Stella
Marina (means 'sea maiden')
Cleo
