I Could Use Your Help

I've been attempting to update my blogger profile to something a little less boring then what I currently have posted, but have found myself at a loss as to what to put down. So I need of all you book lovers out there to help me out. What kinds of things do you like to know about an author? Those burning questions no one ever seems to answer. Birth date? College attended? Favorite book ever? Pets? Blood type? Okay, maybe not blood type, but what?

Any ideas?

Is there any information you really hate an author to include? Maybe info about the author is not as important as info about the book?

What do you want to know? I'd really love your input.

    I'm kind of weird like this, but I'm always really interested in the type of books and movies authors like. *shrugs*

    I am a fan of hearing stories from your life, the sappy and non sappy. And yes, I want to know your blood type. And I think a review of your favorite books to read is cool too, because I always need another good book to read, and you give good recommendations!

    I also like to know what kinds of books the author likes to read (a list would be great because it would be fun to read them).

    But I mostly love personal information like what the author loves to do (favorite hobbies, passions outside of writing, pets?), anything that helps me understand the background of an author better, I always find extremely interesting. And of course, your blood type is a must.

    I'm going to agree with Dannie - your personal stuff is nice to know, but usually if you like what they write, you want to know what they like to read. :)

    I agree with all the above. I like to know what inspires an author, their favorite authors/illustrators/books/movies/music they listen to. I also like random facts. I'm a random fact person. Good luck!
